If you noticed in the Chapter 2 of the game, there's a mission there (I think it's the second boxed mission) wherein you need to beat Dabura without making the city's health fall below 30%. The said mission is soooooo very easy, as in literally easy, that Dabura will rush to you unguarded like telling you that "Oh, I'm an easy target, hit me! hit me quick!". With that, of course, you will completed the said mission perfectly.
But if you want to see the Game's alternative good ending (Aside from the one in the Chapter 7), you need to beat Dabura but let the city's health below 30%. That will make you fail the mission but will "Clear" the field. Thus, it will bring you to the lower "Mission box" instead of the one in the right.
That mission will requires you to beat Dabura within 250 seconds and your teammates should not loose. Sounds easy? Think again.
Before you can face Dabura, you need to beat 3 Android 17's, 2 Freeza's, and 2 Cell's(Twice to beat). Including the time you need to spend travelling from one city to another (to catch the enemies of course), you only have 20 seconds to defeat each enemies. Now tell me, would it be easy for you? I don't think so.
Using weaker fighters, I never been any closer to finishing that mission. That's why I decided to finish all the Chapters so I can unlock the best fighters. When Im done, I went back to chapter 2 and tried finishing that mission using Super Saiyan 4 Goku (of Dragonball GT), Vegito, and Gogeta. They are the strongest and best fighters in the game imho. I set all their booster to max using 4 sided ultimate booster #8, four power boosters #5, and four level 9 skill cards. Me and my Ai teammates were all doin good, but not good at all because 250 seconds is very short! Winning in a single match takes some 25-30seconds of my time so I failed to defeat Dabura on time (By the way, you need to beat him three times.)
But that's not the end of the world, for DBZ at least. I discovered a very good fighter, not as strong as the 3 great characters I used before, but I think he is the fastest killer among all the characters in the Another Road. And his name is "Kid Buu".
Why Kid Buu? He is very short, that opponents will have difficulties banging some kii's on him, and is very hard to combo. But that's not all. His "Raining Kii's" attack is the ultimate key for winning on the shortest time possible. Just get a distance from ur opponent, launch the attack, and charge your kii while watching ur opponent being attacked by so many rain kii's. The opponent might block the first "drop" of Kii, but never on the next ones. It deals a maximum of 2000damages!!! Using him as my main fighter alongside SSJ4, and SS Vegito, I am able to knock an opponent in a matter of 15 to 20 seconds only!!!
But it is still not that easy because some opponents, especially Android 17, were very pesky. Good thing Kid Buu has a very effective combo attack that I can use when the opponent tries to get close to me. One more thing, opponents can also teleport to your back while firing those rain kii's, but don't worry. It doesn't happen that much often, and besides, you just need to be extra aware so you can dodge his back side attack.
Kid Buu can be acquired by beating him in Chapter 7. It took me several times before I could complete that Mission and see the alternative good ending.
Did you watched the alternative ending too? What strategy did you used?

ReplyDeleteI did watch the alternative ending and for chapter 2 stage, i used gogeta as my character, vegito and goku ss4. i maxed out gogeta's special attack point, vegito and goku ss4's rush attack point. when i get into a battle,i get close to the opponent, hit RRR or RRRR then forward + circle. that should deal from 1500 - 2200 damage. i finish the stage with 1 minute left
